This item is created in Canada even though it’s similar to some thing you would get from Ikea. It uses the familiar dowels, pegs and cams and only demands a screwdriver to assemble. The directions were nicely organized and easy to follow. Once assembled, the bookcase actually looks great with some nice additional touches like the arched front piece on the bottom and crown moulding about the top. It appears really sturdy and nicely made. Easily handles all four shelves full of books.

Good value
This bookcase was easy to put together, looks nice and seems sturdy. The only negative is that the back is cardboard and that is a little cheesy, but for this price, we can't complain too much.
